Boston Medical Center Selects RTech
We are excited to announce that Boston Medical Center (BMC) a private, not-for-profit, 508-bed, academic medical center and the primary teaching affiliate for Boston University School of Medicine, has chosen RTech to assist in their Revenue Discovery initiatives. RTech worked closely with FTI Consulting on a preliminary engagement and demonstrated to BMC management the power of our software tools in the discovery of hard-to-find insurance information. Based on the results of our work with FTI, BMC retained RTech to continue to uncover value, month-after-month. We welcome BMC to our growing list of prestigious and valued clients.
National marketing
RTech has recently launched a specifically targeted marketing rollout to clients in key major cities in the United States. Our objective is to introduce our technology driven, Advanced Revenue Discovery approach to a range of hospitals in selected states, with both small and large operations. We are confident that our proven technology can effectively generate millions in new revenue and cash for these organizations. This focused rollout is not about “marketing buzz” just solid, one-on-one executive discussions to introduce our unique approach. Thus far, we are very excited about the market response and our meetings with several of the largest and most prestigious health systems in the US. We will continue to provide updates as we progress.
Welcome back St. Barnabas
We recently got the “green light” to proceed with St Barnabas Hospital Bronx, NY to continue our discovery work. After a two year hiatus, this valued client re-assessed their discovery needs and asked that RTech assist them, once again, in identifying new revenue and cash. We are excited about this important health care provider and are confident that we will be able to rapidly uncover billable insurance accounts. Welcome back!
FTI Consulting selects RTech
RTech has recently completed a discovery engagement with FTI Consulting at a major Boston, MA teaching hospital. FTI is a nationally recognized consulting firm with a significant
health care practice. This engagement represented the first opportunity for the two companies to work together. As a result of our work, FTI and RTech will forge a relationship for future projects throughout the United States to uncover missed billable opportunities for their clients. FTI Healthcare is renowned for their revenue cycle cash acceleration, revenue discovery and process change consulting services. RTech supplements FTI’s technology with an advanced state-technology tool that can quickly uncover revenue and cash.
RTech selects The Paterno Group for marketing
RTech chose The Paterno Group to assist with our targeted introduction to providers in selected U.S. markets. Working directly with principal, Frank Paterno, we identified five major opportunities at several of the country’s most prestigious health systems to test the RTech technology driven, non invasive approach to discovery. Mr. Paterno has extensive experience in health care consulting given his over 30 years of service and practice leadership at Ernst & Young, Cap Gemini and PricewaterhouseCoopers. We are excited about the value that we can bring to this initial group of leading providers.
RSource introduced
RTech’s innovative software for managed care and commercial insurance discovery is introduced to our clients. After several years of development, we have created a product that goes beyond our successful governmental discovery business to enable an all payor, comprehensive approach. Larry Friia, Director, joined RTech to improve the design, and manage the development and implementation of RSource. Assisted by Bill Feigin, Director and Dave Riave, Senior Product Developer, RSource is now a monthly service at ten client facilities. The objective is to get in early and identify correct insurance information before the insurer’s timely filing limits. We also offer aged, retrospective RSource for those clients that have longer timely filing limits. Thus far, client feedback has been very positive. In fact, many are asking for a daily RSource, at or prior to registration. This has been in the design stages for several months. Once developed, it will sweep any competitive product away!
RTech’s newest database 2.0 recently implemented.
After almost a full year of design enhancements and critical programming, RTech implemented our newest standardized database. This now enables highly standardized, consistent and accurate client data to be organized in such a way that regardless of what system a client uses, the data is translated and stored in the exact same place. This gives us a solid platform for client growth and faster development of discovery ideas.
New ideas in process…
We never rest at RTech. Our creative, experienced team is currently working on a number of discovery ideas that will enhance our client results. Whether its our new Medicare sweep, enhanced Medicaid process or advanced-state matching software, we strive to improve our services to clients. We will keep you apprised of the status of our new ideas
New Website
We’re showing a fresh new look in our recently developed web site. Jessica DeRuzza, our in-house Graphics Designer & Marketing coordinator worked very closely with MetroMediaArts, Inc. to design and build our site. While Jessica handled much of the graphics selection and design, MetroMedia built the site in CMS, enabling RTech to quickly change and update the content and selective design elements. While we sacrificed some cool graphics, we gained increased functionality to keep the site current. And, we’re proud of our photo images in that they are real, RTech people and not stock images. RTech, real people…real results!
RTech’s Changing Roles
Most of us at RTech wear “many hats” to serve our clients. As a growing company we have to move quickly, challenge our staff and build flexibility. Recently, we asked three of our experienced account Analysts to take on additional roles;
Grissel Reyes, has been promoted to Assistant Manager and will help Vicki Kotz with a number of managerial responsibilities and continue to function as an Analyst.
Moshe Teich will serve as “Technology Coordinator” and be responsible for system testing of our newest software and query tools. Moshe will provide valuable feedback to our technology developers and concurrently function as an Analyst.
Jessica DeRuzza has been asked to play a key role as Marketing Coordinator, continuing to provide all graphic design and creative marketing support. Jessica will continue in her role as Analyst.
Whether you’re the President or entry level, all of us are expected to play flexible roles, based on skills, experience and knowledge. We congratulate Grissel, Moshe and Jessica in their new RTech roles!
